Sold! (approx. € EUR / $ USD)

A large and colourful vase with large geometric panel cuts, designed by Gianfranco Mandruzzato for the Mandruzzato glassworks, Murano, in 1970.

It is decorated a sommerso, literally 'submerged' - a technique that has different layers of colour suspended within one another to decorative effect. This vase has an emerald green core, surrounded by a layer of amber, and then cased in a pink-tinted clear glass.
