A classic Murano shell-shaped bowl with pulled-rim, designed by Alfredo Barbini in the 1950s.
Of a thick opal-white glass cased in a very deep red, the exterior is plain, whilst the interior is decorated with dispersed silver foil fragments and dark gold powders that have reacted against the silver to create semi-random clusters of colour.
