A very tall contemporary soffiato (thinly mouth-blown) solifleur vase, designed by Marino Santi for Eugenio Ferro & C., Murano.

In a very delicate purple colour, it has a narrow elongated bowl, a long blown hollow stem and an applied foot with a folded-over rim.

Bears a Vetro Artistico Murano label - V.A.M. representing a consortium of Murano glassworks guaranteeing the authenticity of the glass - with the number 050 for the Eugenio Ferro works. Engraved signature of 'M. Santi' to the underside.
