Tall vase in an antique style, with deeply moulded fluted ribs, designed by Alfredo Rossi for Vetreria Maestri Muranesi, Murano, in the early 1980s.

The exterior is decorated a scavo - a technique whereby the vase is rolled in ashes and salts whilst still semi-molten to create the time-weathered look of excavated Roman glass.
