Gino Cenedese & C., Italy

Sold! (approx. € EUR / $ USD)

Striking graduated charcoal grey vase with a turned-over 'collar' rim, designed by Antonio Da Ros for Gino Cenedese & C., Murano, in the early 1980s.

The exterior is decorated a scavo - a technique whereby the vase is rolled in ashes and salts whilst still semi-molten to create the time-weathered look of excavated Roman glass.

Engraved signature 'Cenedese' to the underside.
