A vintage glass table lamp, produced by French glassworks, Verriere Vianne, around the mid-1970s. Although it is shaped like a common-or-garden round table lamp with paper 'coolie' shade, it is a single piece of mouth-blown glass.
The body of the lamp has been made a canne - or with applied canes fused flat to the surface - giving a pleasing candy-stripe effect, particularly when lit.
The lamp accepts an E27 Edison Screw bulb.
