A pair of vintage glass wall lamps, or wall sconces, closely modelled after Toni Zuccheri's 'Quilt' series for Venini in the late 1960s. The maker of these lamps is unknown.
The water-textured glass shades have been hand-cast, with a clear glass ground and a stripe of smoked-amber across the top. The shade has then been 'slumped' (gently melted) over a mould to allow space for the bulb.
The shades are mounted on the white-lacquered backplate with two bronze knurled nuts.
Each lamp takes an E27 Edison-screw bulb.
