Classic Murano glass pendant lamp produced by Gino Cenedese, c.1970. It is of an elongated form with a bulge in the lower half to take the bulb, and coming to a narrow close at the upper half. It is opal-white glass, and has been decorated a canne - or with applied canes - the long purple strands melded to the surface of the glss at regular intervals.
It is complete with a white-lacquered Italian-made Bakelite small Edison screw lampholder (E14), and a metre (39") of new vintage-style silk-braided two core flex in a vibrant cherry red colour.
