Val Saint Lambert, Belgium

£85 (approx. € EUR / $ USD)

A scarce set of six satisfyingly solid antique cut crystal 75ml small wine glasses from the 'Paul 1er' series, produced by Belgian glassworks, Val Saint Lambert, c.1904.

Each glass, executed in a weighty lead crystal, has a thick-walled bowl and a thick stem with a trapped bubble, both decorated with very large and deep panel cuts (taille côtes plates. The stem flows seamlessly into a very thick hexagonal-shaped foot.

The glasses have small traces of use, in line with their age.
