£70 (approx. € EUR / $ USD)

A scarce set of six satisfyingly solid antique cut crystal 20ml liqueur or cordial glasses from the 'Paul 1er' series, produced by Belgian glassworks, Val Saint Lambert, c.1904.

Each glass, executed in a weighty lead crystal, has a thick-walled bowl and a thick stem with a trapped bubble, both decorated with very large and deep panel cuts (taille côtes plates. The stem flows seamlessly into a very thick hexagonal-shaped foot.

The glasses have small traces of use, in line with their age.
