£220 (approx. € EUR / $ USD)

Large bottle vase, or decorative decanter, of of a three-sided, rounded form with a large pegged stopper mimicking the geometry of the bottle, designed by Antonio Da Ros for Gino Cenedese & C., Murano, in the early 1970s.

The bottle and stopper are in a graduated yellow-to-clear glass, both decorated a scavo - a technique that has the glassmaker roll the hot glass in salts and ashes to create an unevenly matted surface similar to 'excavated' Roman and Etruscan glass.
