About These Terms:
These are the terms and conditions of sale (the "Terms & Conditions") which apply to your purchase of goods from Wilson & Coleman.

When we refer to "we", "us" and "our" we mean Wilson & Coleman. When we refer to "you" and "your" we mean the user of the Wilson & Coleman website and purchaser of goods.

As well as these Terms & Conditions, other important legal terms are set out in our Returns Policy. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions you also agree to the Returns Policy, all of which form part of a legally binding contract between us and you. You should read these Terms & Conditions and the Returns Policy carefully before buying anything from Wilson & Coleman.

We reserve the right to change the Terms & Conditions and the Returns Policy at any time. Any changes to the Terms & Conditions or the Returns Policy will be effective for all new orders placed after the change is published on the Wilson & Coleman website. You should check the Terms & Conditions and Returns Policy posted on the Wilson & Coleman website before each order - they may have changed since your last visit.

The Website And The Goods

We try to make sure that all information on the Wilson & Coleman website, including descriptions of our goods and listed prices, are accurate and correct at all times. However, mistakes do happen. We will try to resolve all errors in information on the Wilson & Coleman website as soon as reasonably possible and if we think that such an error has affected your order we will try to let you know.

You should bear in mind that buying goods over the internet provides a different shopping experience from buying in-store. In particular you should be aware that:

  • the colours of goods as shown on the website will depend on many factors - including your display settings;
  • the sizes and shapes of the goods may differ in real life from how they appear on your screen. We provide dimensions and measurements in the descriptions of the goods and it is your responsibility to check that the actual size of each item is suitable for your purpose;
  • pictures and images on the website are for illustration purposes only. For an accurate description of any item and details of what is included with the item, you need to read the corresponding written description;
  • all goods are subject to availability and we may not be able to supply your order. We reserve the right to withdraw any goods from sale at any time, and our only liability to you for withdrawing any goods will be to refund to you any money paid to us in respect of those goods which we are no longer able to supply;
  • we will do our best to deliver your goods in accordance with the delivery date set out in our shopping cart, but please note that all delivery dates given are estimates only and delivery dates may vary.

We will do our best to check the website for viruses but we do not warrant that the website is free of viruses or other malicious content. For your own benefit, you should make sure that you have appropriate software and systems in place to check for viruses and other malicious content on the internet.

We have the right at any time to modify or stop providing the Wilson & Coleman website and to stop selling any or all goods through it, either temporarily or permanently and with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of availability of the Wilson & Coleman website.

Order Acceptance

Our order notification email, sent automatically when you place an order, sets out the final details of your order which you have submitted to the Wilson & Coleman website. Please take care when placing your order, as you might not be able to add to or amend your order after we send the order notification email.

The order notification email contains details of the goods you have ordered, the total cost of the order including delivery, and an order number. The order notification email also constitutes the receipt for your goods. You should print off a copy of the order notification email, and a copy of these Terms & Conditions and the Returns Policy and keep them safe. You will need to refer to these details when contacting us about your order.

Please note that the order notification email is simply an acknowledgement that your order has been received by Wilson & Coleman; it does not indicate that we have accepted your order and does not form a binding contract.

Acceptance of your order will take place only when we despatch the goods to you. Until we despatch your goods no contract will have been formed between you and us.

In the case of goods that are made to order acceptance of your order takes place at the point at which we send out our Delivery Advice email. Please be aware that different cancellation rights apply to goods that are made to order, see our Returns Policy for more details.

Although we hope to be able to supply all goods ordered, we reserve the right, at our discretion and without the need to give reasons, not to accept any offer at any time before it has been accepted. Should we refuse your order we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.

Payment

You can pay for your goods by credit card or debit card via Paypal.

Paypal will take payment from your card or account at the time you place your order. Taking payment does not mean we have accepted your order and, in the event of us not accepting your order, a full refund will be given as soon as reasonably possible (and in any event within 14 working days of us advising you that your order has not been accepted).

We can accept cheques and bank transfers from UK bank accounts, although your purchase/s will not be shipped out until the funds have cleared.

For orders outside of the UK, the prices shown do not include the delivery fee, which will be added to your total order price at the point of checkout.

For international orders outside of the EU, be aware that customs fees may be imposed according to your country's regulations.

Except where otherwise set out in these Terms & Conditions, the price payable by you for the goods is the price given by the Wilson & Coleman website at the time you place your order.

In most cases the delivery fee payable by you for your order will be that which is given by the Wilson & Coleman website at the time you place your order. The delivery fee can be calculated according to your location, the weight, size, nature and value of your goods within the shopping cart. However, you agree that we may increase the delivery fee if your order requires multiple deliveries, or if the value of your order or quantity or size of the goods to be delivered is such that we reasonably consider that it is appropriate for us to recover (or partially recover) our additional expenses in delivering the goods to you.

We will always notify you in advance of any change to the delivery fee, and if you do not wish to continue with your order and pay the amended delivery fee you may cancel your order and receive a full refund.

Pricing Errors

Whilst we try to ensure that all the prices on the Wilson & Coleman website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible. You will then be given the option of re-confirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order.

If we are unable to contact you using the contact details you provided during the order process, we will treat the order as cancelled and notify you by email.

If you decide to cancel your order after we have informed you of a pricing error and you have already paid for the goods, we will give you a full refund as soon as reasonably possible (and in any event within 14 working days of cancellation).

Delivery

The shipping option you choose at the point of order will indicate an estimated delivery period for your goods.

If you will be unavailable in this period, please let us know at the point of ordering to arrange a different delivery period.

If delivery cannot be made due to the nature of the premises, because there is insufficient access, because of incorrect delivery information supplied by you, or for any reason that is not within our reasonable control (including your absence at the time of delivery), you agree to pay our reasonable additional fees for storage and redelivery, including an administration fee for re-arranging delivery. We will inform you of the cost of these fees as soon as reasonably practicable, and you will have the option of reconfirming your order including the additional fees, or cancelling your order (except in the case of made to order goods, which cannot be cancelled after the Delivery Advice email has been sent). If you cancel your order we will refund the purchase price of the goods, but you agree that we may retain your original delivery fee in compensation for the time and expenses incurred for the failed delivery.

Once the goods have been delivered to you, you become the owner of those goods and from that point they will be at your risk. This means you will be liable for any subsequent damage, loss or destruction; and if you are not personally available to accept delivery, you may appoint a representative to do so in your place. The representative must be an adult capable of receiving delivery on your behalf, and you agree that we will be entitled to rely on the representative's instructions as if they were your own.

Delivery will only be made to the point of entry of the delivery address; the delivery agents are not required to unpack or construct items as part of the delivery service.

Cancellations & Returns

Custom Order Goods:
Goods that are made to order, as will generally be the case with our handmade soft furnishings, cannot be cancelled or returned once the order is accepted. In this case, after we have sent you an order notification email, you will have entered into a binding contract to buy the goods, and because the goods are being made for you, you will not be able to cancel that contract.

Once the order has been accepted you can only return them if they were misdescribed or are not of satisfactory quality or reasonably fit for the purpose and we cannot remedy the fault to your reasonable satisfaction.

Everything Else:
You may cancel your order for all other goods at any time up until we accept your order in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

We also offer a 14 day returns period, allowing you to cancel your contract in respect of the goods for up to working 14 days after they have been delivered. You can cancel all or part of the contract. You agree to take reasonable care of the goods and to return all unwanted goods to us.
