Frequently Asked Questions

Can I collect my order from you, or return my order to you, myself?
No. We are solely an internet-based retailer, and as such we have no public liability insured facilities for customer collections or returns.

Can I place an order from outside the UK?
Yes. We have secured competitive carrier rates for international orders, all of which are tracked and insured. Just select your location as prompted by the shopping cart when reviewing or finalising your order.

Can I place my order over the phone?
No. Currently we only accept payment through the online provider, Paypal. We have no facilities to take your payment details over the phone.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes. You can cancel or edit your order up to the point where you submit your order in the checkout process. If you have already submitted your order and need to cancel it, contact us as soon as possible. If your order has already been dispatched, or if you have ordered a custom made item, please read our Returns Policy for more details.

Will I get an order confirmation?
Yes. Shortly after placing your order you will receive an automatic order confirmation from us via e-mail containing the details of your order. This will function as a proof of purchase unless you ask for a printed hard-copy at the time of ordering.

I'm concerned about buying fragile items online - is it safe?
Yes. We have had about a decade of experience shipping glass and other delicate objects around the world, and have an exemplary survival rate for fragile shipments - down to the fact that we parcel each item professionally and carefully, using good quality packing materials and boxes.

Are your vintage electrical / lighting items safe to use?
Whilst we ensure that all vintage electrical and lighting items we stock are in working order, we're obliged to sell them as decorative objects only. Additionally, we can make no guarantees of continued working.

If you intend to use them, you should have them tested first by a qualified electrician.
