Two-Arm Flower Candelabrum

Staffan Gellerstedt, c.1970

Pukeberg Glasbruk, Sweden

£45 (approx. € EUR / $ USD)

A striking and heavily textured vintage 2-arm candelabrum with abstract flower motif and central carrying column, made of heavy cast lead crystal glass. It was designed c.1970 by Staffan Gellerstedt for Swedish glassworks, Pukeberg.

The candlestick was hand-cast, which necessarily incorporates the foibles of hand-made glass processes - random bubbles, swirls, folds and ripples - that lend it a rusticated appearance.
