A large and sculptural three-armed candelabrum candle-holder, designed by Lars Hellsten for Swedish glassworks, Skruf, around the mid-1960s.
Of heavy full lead crystal, the candelabrum comprises a blown glass body with a deeply textured abstract hearts and scrolls motif, typical of Hellsten's work. To each arm is bonded a cast glass candle-cup with an icy texture.
It is signed to the base 'Hellsten Skruf HIL-42' and bears original factory labels to the side.
