Bullicante Atomiser

Archimede Seguso, c.1940

Seguso Vetri d'Arte, Murano

Sold! (approx. € EUR / $ USD)

Vintage and attractive heavy scent atomiser bottle of a spiralled quatrefoil form, attributed to Archimede Seguso in the 1940s for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, Murano.

The bottle is decorated with a controlled bubble - bullicante - pattern on top of a random array of deep pink glass chips marvered onto the surface. This has been then heavily cased in clear crystal glass.

It was acquired, originally, directly from Seguso Vetri d'Arte, and features an unknown, unfortunately illegible, paper export label.

The atomiser components, comprising chrome-plated brass and dyed pink silk, are brand new parts to make this a fully functioning object.
