£13 (approx. € EUR / $ USD)

An original 1970s vibrant red-orange glass roundel from the 'Arkitektur-Glas' series, designed by Christer Sjögren for Swedish glassworks, Lindshammar Glasbruk.

Produced as sections for dalle-de-verre windows prevalent in 1960s and 1970s architecture, they were also retailed as paperweights and incorporated into metal sculptures, lamps and candlesticks.

They are 'new old stock', discovered in a Copenhagen glass warehouse that had closed its doors in the mid-1970s.
