A very vibrant massello sculpture of an angel fish with 'Carnevale' ('Carnival') decoration - applied bold stripes of colour cased in a bright crystal glass, designed by Archimede Seguso for his own Murano works in the very late 1980s or early 1990s.
Massello glass, or 'full' glass, is made without being blown, but is instead formed entirely by physical manipulation whilst hot.
Fully signed 'Archimede Seguso - Murano' to the base.
